This post was supposed to go live yesterday, but the second half of the day got away from me. With that being said we are going to pretend that it is still Saturday and that Sunday morning you were waiting for the big wedding reveal post.
One event, in particular, needed a post of its own. I didn’t want to lump it in with the wedding ceremony and reception, because our rehearsal dinner did not need to be overshadowed. I also wanted to show you glimpses of my bachelorette party, which we had so much fun at!
My Bachelorette Party
For my bachelorette party, I wanted a relaxing weekend on the beach with my best girlfriends. I also wanted to eat amazing food in a beautiful city. We stayed at Wild Dunes for the weekend and then each night we drove into Charleston to eat dinner and grab drinks. I was so happy to have all my girls together for the whole weekend. My bridesmaids did an amazing job, especially my sister in law, who found the perfect place, and went down with me a day early so I could walk the historic district of Charleston all day.
Our Rehearsal Dinner
To start, I can’t tell everyone enough how much I appreciate my in-laws. Especially my mother in law Kathy, who is a beach loving, Lilly wearing and has the most beautiful handwriting ever. She made our rehearsal dinner seem like a second reception which was filled with a band, all of our friends and family, and a low country boil. I love the beach, so Kathy created an entire nautical scene of “tying the knot.”
Our rehearsal dinner was truly a party before the party! I hope everyone is able to view the video below. It just shows how much fun we had dancing the night away and relaxing before our big day!
I hope everyone is enjoying these wedding posts! One more is coming up to show you our wedding day!
All my love,
