When shopping for clothing, especially when I am on a budget, I look for staple pieces. Pieces that can create multiple outfits and in neutrals colors. When I spotted this classic cardigan, it fit all of my requirements for a fall staple piece. It’s a rich caramel brown, has a structured fit and best of all, it’s on sale!
If I am going to be completely honest with you guys, I originally bought this sweater because I was looking for an add-on item to gain free shipping. Raise your hand if I’m not the only one that does that?! I had been searching the website for the perfect thing to add. I was trying to do “free shipping math” in my head – don’t lie, you have done it too – all while trying to figure out costs with discount codes. That is when I stumbled upon the perfect cardigan. This past weekend, I wore it to Fall for Greenville, which is a festival here in Greenville, South Carolina. Saturday was the first day that it truly felt like fall. It was the perfect day to wear my new cardigan. I paired it with a striped t-shirt and leopard flats. The weight of it could not have been more perfect. While I never felt too hot wearing it during the day, I was surprised at how warm it kept me once the sun went down.
