I love to read, but I don’t limit myself to novels and magazines. There are so many great reads from blogs and online magazines. Here are some of my favorites from the week. Enjoy!
Numbers and Nails: Think Chip and Joanna, but with makeovers you can actually achieve by yourself. One of my good friends runs this blog and and her creativity never ceases to amaze me. Check out her re-do of this old fireplace!
The Glitter Guide: I needed this article about getting out of your comfort zone. I don’t know about you, but I get stuck in ruts and my creativity dwindles. I get too comfortable or even scared to move forward. This article gave me an extra push this week when I needed it the most.
Cultivate What Matters: This blog post is great reminder about setting goals and how even small steps lead to great progress.
Southern Living: I have had a subscription to this magazine for years and every month I try to cook at least one recipe from that month’s issue. Hunter and I tried this chicken and dumplings recipe that was featured in January’s and it was so good. It is the perfect comfort food for those cold days.
Costal Living: This post gave amazing tips on decorating with a coastal theme. After seeing some of these rooms, I may have to redecorate!
Southern Style Guide: If you have been longing for a beach a beach vacation, check out the Southern Style Guide’s post on her recent trip to Hawaii!
Emily Ley: While I don’t have any big travel plans in the near future, I love Emily Ley’s post on simplifying travel. I know that I can get overwhelmed and overpack when planning a trip, but I love her tips on how to make travel easier.
Loverly Grey: How adorable is this pink lace dress, especially when Valentine’s Day around the corner!
