I am so desperate for spring! The rain and dreary weather continue in Greenville this week and I am over it! Where is the sunshine?? Spring for me, means bright colors, warm temperatures, and flowers. It can be hard this time of year though when I want to wear all of my dresses, but the temperature just won’t allow that yet. I’ve created some easy ways to transition into spring, even with chilly temperatures and rain in the forecast.
My black and brown sweaters have already been pushed to the back of my closet and I have traded them for bright springtime colors! This hot pink pom sweater is a perfect example of sweaters that I look for this time of year. It is heavy enough to keep me warm on chilly days but makes me feel like warm weather is somewhere in sight. I am wearing it with a white lace cami which is a closet staple for me year-round. If you want to see other spring staples, check out this blog post!
Everyone knows the layering trick for spring. Wear lightweight layers and as the day gets hotter, shed a piece of clothing. Whenever I do this though, I start my day with an adorable put together outfit and end it wearing a bland t-shirt. Sweater-Blazers are a super easy fix to that problem, especially when you add some statement earrings and a classic cami or blouse. They are a thicker material, structured and more oversized than a standard blazer. Here are some great options with a ton of colors to choose from. If you want a more structured fit, this one is great. If you aren’t into the blazer trend, I am loving this long cardigan and it’s on sale!
What are your tips for easy ways to transition into spring? I hope everyone has a great week!
All My Love,
Michelle Marie
