Doing a little test run today. I thinking of exchanging my Monday Porch Talk Series into Coffee Date. But why? For one, Monday mornings, I seem to be all over the place and I wanted a series that would allow me to post at any time. Also, so much of my life right now revolves around coffee dates. Sometimes it is the only chance I get to see friends and family, while we sit and talk over a cup of coffee. The basis will pretty much be the same. I will include life updates, things I’m loving and bad iPhone pictures that have been taken over the past week. Let me know your thoughts!
This weekend Hunter and I traveled to North Carolina to see our parents. We attended a Western Carolina University football game, which is my husband’s alma mater. The Catamounts won and Hunter could not be happier! It was such a relaxing weekend and it was great to spend time with my parents and my in-laws. Plus I finally got to eat my sweet potato quesadilla from my favorite brewery, Innovation, which has an amazing food truck outside. (Next time, I’ll get a picture of both!)
Things I’m Loving
1. Essie Gel Couture – I know that I have mentioned this before, but if you have not tried Essie’s Couture Nail Color, it’s amazing! Seriously it stays on for days! I’ve been wearing the color “at the barre.”
2. Evelyn Hensen’s Fall Phone Wallpaper – First of all if you do not follow Evelyn Hensen, you need too. She creates amazing fun prints of cities, animals and so many other things. She created a free fall themed wallpaper, which I believe can still be found on her Instagram account. It’s so cute, I can’t stop looking at it!
3. This Olive Shirt – Last week, I wrote a post about the “perfect color combo for September.” I am wearing an olive-colored shirt and I still cannot stop wearing it! It is slightly oversized, so soft and comes in a few other colors.
What is funny, is that once I changed the name of this blog post, the words and ideas seemed to spill out of me. I can’t wait to hear your options!
All my love,
